Source : Naukri India

Naukri India is a brand of Info Edge and is the country’s largest online recruitment platform. The Naukri India JobSpeak Index April 2020 plummeted 62% to 951.

JobSpeak is a monthly Index that calculates and records hiring activity based on the job listings on the Naukri.com website month on month.

Among the different sectors, Naukri JobSpeak Index for April 2020 shows the decline in hiring is led by industries like hotel/ restaurant/ travel/ airlines (-91 percent); auto/ancillary (-82 percent); retail (-77 percent) and accounting/finance (-70 percent).

The job market across cities registered a double-digit dip in hiring. The decline was led by metros wherein Delhi declined by 70% followed by Chennai (-62%), Kolkata (-60%), and Mumbai (-60%).

In other words, “The disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic continues to impact the hiring activity leading to a 62% decline in April 2020.

While hotel/restaurant/travel/airlines have been significantly impacted. However, Industries like IT-software/software services, pharma/biotech/clinical research, and insurance have been less impacted,” said Pawan Goyal, chief business officer, Naukri.com.

However, to help job seekers and recruiters facilitate career progression and hiring in these tough and uncertain times, Naukri has recently launched the Step-Up initiative, he said.

Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown, businesses like airlines, hospitality and travel, and hotel/restaurants which depend on customers have seen a decline in business. These entities are also making use of cost-cutting measures, one of which is slowing down fresh hiring.

However, hiring activity in pharma/biotech/clinical research (-54%), IT-software/software services (-49%) and insurance (-42%) was less impacted as compared to other industries in April 2020.

But Now Government Changes this Now Students are Free to choose any Subjects from any Stream i.e- Physics  with History and many More combinations. 2. 10+2 becomes 5+3+3+4 , which is Similar to western culture education .  Below Image Provide More information about this . 3.Reduc...

Arthvyavastha Ki Baat

Factors Defining Rest of Year' Course of Indian Economy The first-quarter GDP growth number — a contraction by 24% — was on expected lines and shows that the Indian economy has slumped sharply due to the lockdown. “Growth for the full year is likely to be in the region of (—) 6.4 per cent, which is premised on a low negative growth number for the first two quarters for certain, possibly a close to positive number in the third quarter, and positive growth in the last quarter,” writes Madan Sabnavis, chief economist of CARE Ratings. But two basic factors would influence the assumptions being made on the growth prospects for the coming quarters. The first is the process of “Unlocking”. It has been observed that with the economy moving from the stage of a total lockdown in April to a gradual opening up of the windows in May and June, and then the door opening up a little more significantly in July and August, the movement from one stage to another did reflect in the macro-economic nu...

What is the Real Definition of "Quality Education"?

"A good quality education is one that provides all learners with capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies and enhance individual well-being. The learning outcomes that are required vary according to context but at the end of the basic education cycle must include threshold levels of literacy and numeracy, basic scientific knowledge and life skills including awareness and prevention of disease. Capacity development to improve the quality of teachers and other education stakeholders is crucial throughout this process." Six Important D's-Dimensions Of Quality Education I believes that  education leads to  empowerment : a process of strengthening individuals, organisations and communities so they get more control over their own situations and environments. Quality education is a crucial factor in combating poverty and inequality in society. In  quality education , ...
