Subtle Art of Being Fit as an IT guy

"Fitness" is a broad term that means something different to each person, but it refers to your own optimal health and overall well-being. Being fit not only means physical health, but emotional and mental health, too. It defines every aspect of your health. Smart eating and active living are fundamental to fitness.

According to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Complete Food and Nutrition Guide (3rd ed.), when you are fit, you have:
Energy to do what's important to you and to be more productive
Stamina and a positive outlook to handle the mental challenges and emotional ups and downs of everyday life and to deal with stress
Reduced risk for many health problems, such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes and osteoporosis
The chance to look and feel your best
Physical strength and endurance to accomplish physical challenges
A better chance for a higher quality of life and perhaps a longer life, too

Best Tips to Keep Yourself Fit :
1. If you've got a young sports enthusiast in the family, play along. Shooting baskets and kicking a soccer ball around the yard are great ways to get your heart pumping. Thirty minutes of cardio training are recommended, but even five to 10 minutes will elevate your energy and speed your metabolism.
2 . If their pace is too slow, add some lunges, jumping jacks, or running in place every few minutes to make you work harder
3. Get into some vigorous sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming. These types of housekeeping chores can burn a significant number of calories.
4. We've all heard the benefits of taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Everything you've heard is true.
5.  Likewise, getting off the bus or subway a stop or two before your destination on a regular basis adds up to a lot of heart-healthy walking.
6. Do yoga or Pilates while you, or the kids, unwind in front of a movie. While watching TV, do push-ups or sit-ups during commercials. Even one per commercial during a two-hour movie can give you some good exercise.
7 . Take your breaks outdoors and have a brisk, short walk. You'll also improve your concentration and mood.
8. Dance or do aerobics at home. No one is watching, anyway. If you like, include the little ones and turn it into a game.
9.Practice stretching or light yoga moves while talking on the phone, listening to the news, or while dinner is cooking.
10. Find the high-energy items on your to-do list and tackle these when you need physical activity. Think about washing the car, digging the garden, mowing the lawn, or reorganizing a closet.
11. Get up 15 to 30 minutes earlier than the rest of the family and use this time for a run, a walk, or some stretching and yoga.
12. Carry the seasonal fruits to your work and you can have them during your tea breaks.
13. Do not keep looking to the monitor for very long. Every 20 minutes at least look away from your monitor for a 30secs
14. find at least 20 minutes for a work out. It can be anything you want to do, jogging, walking, yoga, dancing. Let your body sweat.

Arthvyavastha Ki Baat

Factors Defining Rest of Year' Course of Indian Economy The first-quarter GDP growth number — a contraction by 24% — was on expected lines and shows that the Indian economy has slumped sharply due to the lockdown. “Growth for the full year is likely to be in the region of (—) 6.4 per cent, which is premised on a low negative growth number for the first two quarters for certain, possibly a close to positive number in the third quarter, and positive growth in the last quarter,” writes Madan Sabnavis, chief economist of CARE Ratings. But two basic factors would influence the assumptions being made on the growth prospects for the coming quarters. The first is the process of “Unlocking”. It has been observed that with the economy moving from the stage of a total lockdown in April to a gradual opening up of the windows in May and June, and then the door opening up a little more significantly in July and August, the movement from one stage to another did reflect in the macro-economic nu...
